The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Seron's Viviano Milroy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolomé Salcedo in the 7th minute of play. After 9 minutes, Angelillo Navarro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seron and the Bodenca AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes Seron got a freekick which was hit by Angelillo Navarro. Rollo Almeyda kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Viviano Milroy made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Christian Romo sent off a good shot on target. Bodenca AFC's José Alejandro Fadda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romualdo Alcocer in the 16th minute of play. Christian Romo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viviano Milroy having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Romualdo Alcocer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Alejandro Fadda. Bodenca AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romualdo Alcocer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jon-Ander Uriondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. José Alejandro Fadda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Seron booed when Bodenca AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubén Echeverz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marciano Martinich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Alejandro Fadda having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romualdo Alcocer in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Alejandro Fadda saved Bodenca AFC from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romualdo Alcocer to make the kick off. A nice corner shot did that Romualdo Alcocer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this José Alejandro Fadda quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bartolomé Salcedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Viviano Milroy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Bartolomé Salcedo in the 63rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.
