With his leg Iván Ochagavia managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Yalamanta FC's Gualberto Maritano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 6 minutes, Aristeo Roger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yalamanta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristeo Roger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Yalamanta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Jons came free, but Demesio Isassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Aristeo Roger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iván Ochagavia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tiacolpa AFC's Baldomiro Turpin got a free kick in the 11th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Tiacolpa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aristeo Roger came free, but Iván Ochagavia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Leandro Jons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobías Meneses's late challenge caught a Tiacolpa AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobías Meneses helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tiacolpa AFC booed when Yalamanta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobías Meneses didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Tiacolpa AFC's Fulgencio Dragicevic tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 24th match minute, Yalamanta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre Salinas to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualberto Maritano got free with Iván Ochagavia in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Aristeo Roger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iván Ochagavia was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Aristeo Roger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iván Ochagavia having to interfere. Igor Smith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Demesio Isassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Huici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiacolpa AFC's Saverio Huici got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Leandro Jons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iván Ochagavia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristeo Roger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristeo Roger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Iván Ochagavia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiacolpa AFC's Saverio Huici got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Jons got free with Demesio Isassi in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cosme Parant kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match Celestino Zaldivar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iván Ochagavia skillfully saved the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Aristeo Roger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Iván Ochagavia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gualberto Maritano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Iván Ochagavia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobías Meneses fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iván Ochagavia having to interfere. Iván Ochagavia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualberto Maritano in the 92nd minute of play. Iván Ochagavia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualberto Maritano, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tiacolpa AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yalamanta FC.
