Pajaritos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alcides Laferte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Pedegua booed when Pajaritos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alcides Laferte didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Pedegua's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Maria Diena came free, but Eliazar Pallauta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Alipio Galan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pajaritos's supporters rose to their feet, but Alipio Galan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliazar Pallauta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th match minute, Pedegua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltazar Neil to maneuver through the defense. Alipio Galan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Alipio Galan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliazar Pallauta was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. The supporters of Pajaritos booed when Pedegua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pinone Llamllam didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alipio Galan came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Pajaritos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alipio Galan couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, Zenaido Jaime had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Estevan Salamanca. Pajaritos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zenaido Jaime was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Eliazar Pallauta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alipio Galan in the 40th minute of the match. Pedegua's Eliazar Pallauta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Pedegua from getting a goal against them. Eliazar Pallauta made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Alipio Galan sent off a good shot on target. After 48 minutes, Carmelo Otaegui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pedegua and the Pajaritos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pajaritos booed when Pedegua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Otaegui didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alipio Galan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute of the match Ondino Morgado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eliazar Pallauta skillfully saved the ball. When Marco Ferrari came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Pajaritos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Ferrari couldn't finish the play. Eliazar Pallauta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alipio Galan's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pedegua's goalkeeper Eliazar Pallauta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedegua's Eliazar Pallauta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alipio Galan in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Pajaritos getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Marcelo Aeta hit a great ball. Juan Miguel Eguiguren might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliazar Pallauta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Miguel Eguiguren ran back to his position shaking his head. Pinone Llamllam kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Eliazar Pallauta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alipio Galan's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Alcides Laferte hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Eliazar Pallauta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Ferrari, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alipio Galan in the 96th minute of play forced Pedegua's goalkeeper Eliazar Pallauta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
