But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimir Laskov couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, C.D Trizzano's Tiburcio Oroitz got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The referee ignored C.D Trizzano's protests and gave Loreno Clausen a yellow card for diving instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vladimir Laskov to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimir Laskov couldn't finish the play. A hard shot by Esteban Diaz from long distance, 86 minutes into the match, got Baldomero Arens's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Vladimir Laskov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd match minute, C.D Trizzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Angel Albano to maneuver through the defense. Epifanío Millanao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaitano Celada, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C.D Trizzano eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
