Benedicto Messia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Aguad in the 27th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saturnín Almi to strike the kick off in the second half. Saturnín Almi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Saturnín Almi might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benedicto Messia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saturnín Almi ran back to his position shaking his head. Ceferino Aguad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Messia having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnín Almi in the 71st minute of play forced Hueilla AFC's goalkeeper Benedicto Messia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ceferino Aguad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute of the match, Ceferino Aguad got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benedicto Messia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Comalle FC's Leonel Hermosilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mannuel Olarra in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Comalle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mannuel Olarra came free, but Leonel Hermosilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Genaro Coulin fired a really elegant long shot, but Benedicto Messia threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Ramón Von Bischhoffshausen's late challenge caught a Comalle FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramón Von Bischhoffshausen helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hueilla AFC!
