But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Azaola couldn't finish the play. After 54 played minutes, Cunco's Leopoldo Jacinto Levenier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sebastián Bayo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cunco reached it. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Abelado Antúnez took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Sebastián Bayo to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Goncalves got free with Sebastián Bayo in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 67 played minutes Nasahuentu FC got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Huneeus. Sebastián Bayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Goncalves in the 74th minute. In the 81st minute, Fernando Goncalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nasahuentu FC's Sebastián Bayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelado Antúnez in the 82nd minute of play. Lois Bueno hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Nasahuentu FC's Xavier Siredey tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alessandro Azaola struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Mikel Azoca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nasahuentu FC. The Nasahuentu FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cunco's performance. The match ended with a win for Cunco.
