After some careless play in the Aimani defense, Ceferino Aguad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franco Duvauchelle. The Aimani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franco Duvauchelle should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Aimani's Tito Román sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonel Hermosilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Saturnín Almi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Comalle FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Saturnín Almi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Duvauchelle having to interfere. Jaume Hetz hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Saturnín Almi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelino Sir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Leonel Hermosilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Comalle FC's Leonel Hermosilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tito Román in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tito Román stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcelino Sir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Hermosilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Ceferino Aguad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Franco Duvauchelle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Comalle FC's Leonel Hermosilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tito Román in the 66th minute of play. If Marcelino Sir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Marcelino Sir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aimani's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelino Sir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel Hermosilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Saturnín Almi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Franco Duvauchelle. That made the score 0-4 in the 79 minute of play. Saturnín Almi scored 0-5 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franco Duvauchelle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tito Román fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Hermosilla having to interfere. Aimani's Victoro Munizaga got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tito Román in the 95th minute of play forced Comalle FC's goalkeeper Leonel Hermosilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Juan Carlos Martínez de Aldunate was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aimani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Comalle FC the free kick. When the final whistle sounded Comalle FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Aimani.
