Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) Nasahuentu FC's Luis María Klickmann started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nasahuentu FC's Sebastián Bayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Medina in the 7th minute of play. Sebastián Bayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mannuel Olarra in the 14th minute of play. If Luis María Klickmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hueilla AFC booed when Nasahuentu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis María Klickmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Mannuel Olarra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastián Bayo was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Norberto Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastián Bayo having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Nasahuentu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mannuel Olarra came free, but Sebastián Bayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastián Bayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Nasahuentu FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Pedro Tomás Fisher hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes Hueilla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Aldea. If Alessandro Azaola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Messia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis María Klickmann's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Mannuel Olarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Sebastián Bayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Nasahuentu FC's Luis María Klickmann dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Alessandro Azaola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Benedicto Messia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Nasahuentu FC's Xavier Siredey got a free kick in the 54th minute. The audience cheered when Ramón Von Bischhoffshausen's long shot passed Sebastián Bayo's right side. It was 1-1, 55 minutes into the match. Norberto Medina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nasahuentu FC's Sebastián Bayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Nasahuentu FC from getting a goal against them. When Nasahuentu FC's Alessandro Azaola in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hueilla AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Fabricio Aldea hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Benedicto Messia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis María Klickmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mannuel Olarra in the 76th minute of play forced Nasahuentu FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Bayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hueilla AFC's Norberto Medina was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 84 played minutes Nasahuentu FC got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Zamudio. After some careless play in the Hueilla AFC defense, Alessandro Azaola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedicto Messia. The Hueilla AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedicto Messia should have stopped the shot. Norberto Medina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Hueilla AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hueilla AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
