Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ambrosio Detmer took the kick off in the first half of the match. The attack was good, but when Luis Alberto Roger in the 3rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 4 played minutes U.Catolica got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Van Diest. Alifonso Millar struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Zebulón Domínguez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U.Catolica. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Putique's Elear Aninat in the 13th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Narcomillo Durney was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for U.Catolica through an amazing save. After having played for 17 minutes, Alifonso Millar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U.Catolica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alifonso Millar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute Ambrosio Detmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zebulón Domínguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, U.Catolica's goalkeeper Narcomillo Durney had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Alberto Roger. Jorge Vicente Dagorret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elear Aninat to make the kick off. Elear Aninat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Narcomillo Durney having to make a save. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Elear Aninat sped through U.Catolica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Narcomillo Durney. Zebulón Domínguez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 64th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1.
