Spectators: 7350 (Terracing: 5552, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ireno Estolaza kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, quebrado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Osorez to maneuver through the defense. In the 4thth minute of the game Adalberto Bernales who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but quebrado's León Súnico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Telmo Izammit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without León Súnico having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in quebrado's zone, Adalberto Bernales stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. León Súnico came out of the goal and Adalberto Bernales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. León Súnico came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Los washiturros's Adalberto Bernales. But to his dismay, Adalberto Bernales quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eladio Granic kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adalberto Bernales was the one to do the kick off. If Adalberto Bernales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Los washiturros's Adalberto Bernales got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Telmo Izammit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When César Roger fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored quebrado's protests and gave César Roger a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, César Roger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eladio Granic got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a defensive mix-up in quebrado's zone, Adalberto Bernales stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. León Súnico came out of the goal and Adalberto Bernales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 played minutes quebrado got a freekick which was hit by César Roger. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for quebrado! Telmo Izammit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If César Roger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
