Magdaleno Ceron was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobaldo Lermanda got free with Magdaleno Ceron in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Puchultisa AFC's Aaron Encina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Almonacid in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Puchultisa AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Magdaleno Taibo hit a great ball. Francisco José Pellegrini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aaron Encina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Puchultisa AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Santis to maneuver through the defense. Próspero Portal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aaron Encina. Puchultisa AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Luis Javier Bastías had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobaldo Lermanda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elias Almonacid stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Tutuquen FC's Elias Almonacid made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Encina was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 55 played minutes Puchultisa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Santis. If Teobaldo Lermanda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aaron Encina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cresenciano Pantaleon, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Teobaldo Lermanda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Magdaleno Ceron having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Almonacid in the 79th minute of play forced Puchultisa AFC's goalkeeper Aaron Encina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco José Pellegrini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Encina having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Almonacid in the 85th minute of play forced Puchultisa AFC's goalkeeper Aaron Encina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Magdaleno Taibo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 94 in the game by Francisco José Pellegrini from a close distance when the talented Aaron Encina managed to make a qualified save. Puchultisa AFC's players were relieved. Aaron Encina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Almonacid's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
