In the 5thth minute Gonzalo Nancupel beautifully dribbled past Chicureo's defense and it looked for a moment as a certain goal, but Noé Conejeros pulled off a phantom save to prevent the ball from scoring on his left hand side. Baldomiro Vega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrico Vidaurre having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Chicureo's Aníbal Parodi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrico Vidaurre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Baldomiro Vega came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Chicureo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Vega couldn't finish the play. Chicureo's Isidoro Duble was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 21st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Chicureo's Aníbal Parodi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrico Vidaurre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Chicureo's Baldomiro Vega got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Duble in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrico Vidaurre saved ESMERALDA FC from getting behind. Aníbal Parodi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrico Vidaurre having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliano Fouillioux got free with Henrico Vidaurre in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Aníbal Parodi took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Henrico Vidaurre to make any attempt to save it. In the 35th minute, Fulgencio Montes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ESMERALDA FC's Henrico Vidaurre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Fouillioux in the 37th minute of play. Aureliano Fouillioux succeeded in the game's 41st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. In the 46th minute, Aníbal Parodi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Aníbal Parodi came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Chicureo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aníbal Parodi couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aureliano Fouillioux stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Aureliano Fouillioux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Baldomiro Vega came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Chicureo fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Fouillioux in the 60th minute of play forced ESMERALDA FC's goalkeeper Henrico Vidaurre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ESMERALDA FC! Henrico Vidaurre had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Isidoro Duble's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Aníbal Parodi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrico Vidaurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Parodi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Fulgencio Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrico Vidaurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Fouillioux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Henrico Vidaurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Aníbal Parodi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Henrico Vidaurre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ESMERALDA FC's Henrico Vidaurre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Montes in the 85th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Aníbal Parodi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chicureo's Aureliano Fouillioux got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henrico Vidaurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Parodi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chicureo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
