The audience thought a goal was coming when Lauro Arroyo got free with Plácido Ovalle in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Cruzado CF's Lauro Arroyo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Plácido Ovalle. That made the score 2-0 after 43 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Pereira was the one to do the kick off. Plácido Ovalle came out of the goal and Manuel Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Plácido Ovalle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Camiña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Plácido Ovalle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Pereira in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Valentino Almoraza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 minutes, Manuel Pereira made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Nerquihue's Plácido Ovalle tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. José Antonio Leroy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oriol Eyzaguirre having to interfere. Jeremías Oruna hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Real Cruzado CF's zone, Eustaquio Landi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oriol Eyzaguirre came out of the goal and Eustaquio Landi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vicens Dayson kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Isidro Cruchaga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Plácido Ovalle. Nerquihue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidro Cruchaga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicens Dayson during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vicens Dayson hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Ceandro Manieu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oriol Eyzaguirre having to interfere. Ceandro Manieu charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ceandro Manieu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nerquihue getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ceandro Manieu hit a great ball. Real Cruzado CF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
