Juan Antonio Dundan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Grajales in the 16th minute of play. With a little luck, ZAMORANO FC's Ursino Zenteno got control of the ball when Héctor Anastassiou tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan Antonio Dundan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severiano Grajales's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Fabián Slier sped through The Sinx FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juan Antonio Dundan. After 26th play minutes Severiano Grajales shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Juan Antonio Dundan and just under the crossbar into goal. Teodor Cea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Juan Antonio Dundan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Jeraldo Parada kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ursino Zenteno. That made the score 2-2 in the 33 minute of play. The Sinx FC's Juan Antonio Dundan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lester Castex in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute ZAMORANO FC were awarded a corner. Elías Burboa went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on ZAMORANO FC's corner Elías Burboa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juan Antonio Dundan quite easily take care of the ball. ZAMORANO FC's Ursino Zenteno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Mac Kay in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute, Teodor Cea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZAMORANO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeraldo Parada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Severiano Grajales came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the ZAMORANO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Grajales couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of The Sinx FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ZAMORANO FC:s goal. Severiano Grajales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Juan Antonio Dundan made a huge save. After a rather tough play, ZAMORANO FC's Frances Mella got a free kick in the 68th minute. Severiano Grajales, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Fabián Slier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sinx FC's Juan Antonio Dundan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lester Castex in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor Anastassiou in the 81st minute of play forced ZAMORANO FC's goalkeeper Ursino Zenteno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2-5 became the score in the 82nd minute when Severiano Grajales elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, The Sinx FC's goalkeeper Juan Antonio Dundan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodor Cea. Juan Antonio Dundan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Grajales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severiano Grajales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded ZAMORANO FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Sinx FC.
