Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristiano Aizpuru started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Abelado Santa Ana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jaime Zuloaga fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real gamboa's protests and gave Jaime Zuloaga a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Real gamboa getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jaime Zuloaga hit a great ball. Abner Castañeda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Aizpuru in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ysidro Lazcano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henrico Byers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Marzi having to interfere. Cristiano Aizpuru was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. Real gamboa's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 39th minute Rutenio Soto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Marzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Real gamboa's Emilio Barbaste got a free kick in the 41st minute. Henrico Byers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ulises Marzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, Real gamboa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Santa Ana to maneuver through the defense. After 48 played minutes, Jahuel's Raimundo Fritis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ulises Marzi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jahuel reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrico Byers to strike the kick off in the second half. Jorge Brown's late challenge caught a Jahuel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Brown helped the player get up and apologised. Jahuel's Rutenio Soto got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute Abner Castañeda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysidro Lazcano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rutenio Soto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Ulises Marzi made a huge save. Jahuel's Ysidro Lazcano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Aizpuru in the 73rd minute of play. Cristiano Aizpuru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 minutes, Zavier Ferrari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jahuel and the Real gamboa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 played minutes Jahuel got a freekick which was hit by Zavier Ferrari. Real gamboa's Abelado Santa Ana got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jahuel's Ysidro Lazcano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Aizpuru in the 86th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Henrico Byers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulises Marzi was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Ysidro Lazcano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Aizpuru in the 97th minute of the match. The Jahuel supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jahuel would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
