Abner Castañeda might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ysidro Lazcano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abner Castañeda ran back to his position shaking his head. Leoncio Helo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Rutenio Sotos short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Ulises Marzi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Ulises Marzi managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Jahuel's Rutenio Soto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 19th match minute, Jahuel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Orozco to maneuver through the defense. After 23rd play minutes Rutenio Soto shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Ulises Marzi and just under the crossbar into goal. Real gamboa's Ulises Marzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Real gamboa from getting a goal against them. If Henrico Byers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abner Castañeda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ysidro Lazcano having to interfere. Ysidro Lazcano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelado Santa Ana, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Rutenio Soto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Marzi having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Rutenio Soto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jahuel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristiano Aizpuru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Justino Orozco hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Abner Castañeda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real gamboa's supporters rose to their feet, but Abner Castañeda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ysidro Lazcano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th match minute, Jahuel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Orozco to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Santa Ana in the 63rd minute of play forced Jahuel's goalkeeper Ysidro Lazcano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrico Byers in the 75th minute of play forced Real gamboa's goalkeeper Ulises Marzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Jahuel booed when Real gamboa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelado Santa Ana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henrico Byers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Marzi having to interfere. After 85 minutes, Abelado Santa Ana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real gamboa and the Jahuel players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Abelado Santa Ana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
