In the 19th minute, Peio Depsch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Libertad1984's zone, Remi Lira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hipolito Carretero came out of the goal and Remi Lira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 26 in the game by Demetrio Costa from a close distance when the talented Hipolito Carretero managed to make a qualified save. C.A.Libertad1984's players were relieved. 30 minutes in the game, Demetrio Costa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hipolito Carretero having to interfere. Demetrio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Hipolito Carretero made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Remi Lira sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remi Lira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucas Asenjo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Alvar Calvo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, C.A.Libertad1984's Ysmael Killinge threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alvar Calvo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. For all the effort they put into the match, the C.A.Libertad1984 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atacalco AFC.
