Spectators: 7363 (Terracing: 5523, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 147) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jaume Daroch made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Jaume Daroch got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 8 minutes, Daniel Valdovinos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Athletic Club Larrondo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Valdovinos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emilio Moroni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvatore Fontecilla having to interfere. Sergi Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th match minute, Portillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rómulo Villota to maneuver through the defense. Vincente Carvacho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pol Rioseco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Athletic Club Larrondo's goal looked a bit too open when Rómulo Villota came free, but Vincente Carvacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Moroni received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Salvatore Fontecilla came out and tried to block the shot, but Emilio Moroni slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. Filomeno Pinilla kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28thth minute of the game Pol Rioseco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Athletic Club Larrondo's Vincente Carvacho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Athletic Club Larrondo's Daniel Valdovinos got a free kick in the 29th minute. Sergi Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvatore Fontecilla having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Paulo Barria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Nazario Briones ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vincente Carvacho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Athletic Club Larrondo's Vincente Carvacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rómulo Villota in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Remicio Agnese had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vincente Carvacho. Athletic Club Larrondo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remicio Agnese was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pol Rioseco made a kick off. Teofilio Panzer's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Salvatore Fontecilla - 2-2 was put on the score board in the 55th minute. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Pol Rioseco took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Vincente Carvacho to make any attempt to save it. After 63 played minutes Portillo got a freekick which was hit by Remicio Agnese. Jaume Daroch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvatore Fontecilla having to interfere. Daniel Valdovinos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Salvatore Fontecilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Nazario Briones cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Vincente Carvacho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Salvatore Fontecilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaume Daroch in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaume Daroch in the 88th minute of play forced Portillo's goalkeeper Salvatore Fontecilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Athletic Club Larrondo getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Paulo Barria hit a great ball. Emilio Moroni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvatore Fontecilla having to interfere. After 96 minutes, Rómulo Villota mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portillo and the Athletic Club Larrondo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rómulo Villota hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Portillo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Portillo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
