In the 22nd match minute, Huillinlebu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Canal to maneuver through the defense. Aníbal Guajardo charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aníbal Guajardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Huillinlebu FC booed when Naltahua AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Guajardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Tito Granado sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Naltahua AFC's Silviano Antunovic didn't even have to move. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvestre Barba was the one to do the kick off. Naltahua AFC's Silviano Antunovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Dechent in the 56th minute of play. Silviano Antunovic didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Huillinlebu FC's Geraldo Montenegro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. If Geraldo Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Miguel Quilempan hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Tito Granado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silviano Antunovic. Naltahua AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Huillinlebu FC had won after a very even match.
