After 2 played minutes Pununquen got a freekick which was hit by Modestio Rallo. 5 minutes in the game, Igor Almendras fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cristóbal Barbosa having to interfere. Hilario Maldini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hilario Maldini in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristóbal Barbosa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Romildo Catoni kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Pununquen's Brian Añasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sisebuto Baettig in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Pununquen getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Romildo Catoni hit a great ball. Cristóbal Barbosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hilario Maldini in the 41st minute. A collision led to Guabun AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Eber Galván hit a great ball. Igor Almendras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóbal Barbosa having to interfere. Hilario Maldini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramiro Parraguez to make the kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, Abundio Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pununquen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abundio Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Parraguez in the 62nd minute of play forced Pununquen's goalkeeper Brian Añasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes Pununquen got a freekick which was hit by Modestio Rallo. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Sisebuto Baettig sped through Pununquen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brian Añasco. Sisebuto Baettig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Brian Añasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Sisebuto Baettig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brian Añasco. Pununquen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sisebuto Baettig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Cristóbal Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Almendras, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Abundio Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóbal Barbosa having to interfere. Guabun AFC's Aurelius Calzada got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Aurelius Calzada off the ground. After a rather tough play, Guabun AFC's Aurelius Calzada got a free kick in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Guabun AFC's zone, Igor Almendras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristóbal Barbosa came out of the goal and Igor Almendras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Guabun AFC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Pununquen side.
