Huarasina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Airacollo the free kick. Juan Eduardo De la Fuente hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Xaime Martínez Lamas might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Francisco Aboitiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xaime Martínez Lamas ran back to his position shaking his head. Xosé Klaafon kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Huarasina's goal looked a bit too open when Xabel Antoine came free, but José Francisco Aboitiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xabel Antoine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. José Francisco Aboitiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silviano Aliagas short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Claudio Rubio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Silviano Aliaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huarasina's supporters rose to their feet, but Silviano Aliaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Rubio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Huarasina booed when Airacollo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlondón Davalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Huarasina's Alfonso Anastassiou dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Xabel Antoine took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Francisco Aboitiz. José Francisco Aboitiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After having played for 33 minutes, Xabel Antoine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Airacollo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xabel Antoine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eduardo Ustariz kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Airacollo's Claudio Rubio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Airacollo from getting a goal against them. Silviano Aliaga might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Rubio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silviano Aliaga ran back to his position shaking his head. 39 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Huarasina's Alfonso Anastassiou fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Alfonso Anastassiou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Claudio Rubio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Huarasina's Alfonso Anastassiou got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xabel Antoine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. José Francisco Aboitiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xabel Antoine made a kick off. If Silviano Aliaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Xabel Antoine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Airacollo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xaime Martínez Lamas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xaime Martínez Lamas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xaime Martínez Lamas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Francisco Aboitiz having to interfere. Airacollo's Claudio Rubio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviano Aliaga in the 74th minute of play. Silviano Aliaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Rubio having to interfere. Xaime Martínez Lamas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xaime Martínez Lamas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute Silviano Aliaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Rubio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Silviano Aliaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 2-1 became the score in the 91st minute when Silviano Aliaga elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Huarasina fans cheered their team off the field, for while Airacollo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
