Alipio Goyenechea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Fuentealba having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Hipica F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Juan Miguel Morales came free, but Brian Fuentealba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 minutes, Leoncio Almendros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hipica F.C. and the Centro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alipio Goyenechea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Brian Fuentealba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Hipica F.C. booed when Centro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alipio Goyenechea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Leoncio Almendros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esequiel Vivero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alipio Goyenechea charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alipio Goyenechea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Juan Miguel Morales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Fuentealba having to interfere. Brian Fuentealba didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. The Centro players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
