Epifanío Fredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Aguiar having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Batista Bassenge's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xosé Parro was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Batista Bassenge ran back to his position shaking his head. José Marcelo Grez took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xosé Parro. Xosé Parro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. A collision led to Quinicabe FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Batista Bassenge hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Epifanío Kroon was the one to do the kick off. Anacleto Gamarra kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Xosé Parro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Marcelo Grez in the 56th minute of the match. Epifanío Kroon scored 3-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romeo Aguiar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 83 played minutes Cantarrana got a freekick which was hit by Alonso Lanchares. Romeo Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanío Fredes in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Quinicabe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanío Kroon came free, but Romeo Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Quinicabe FC defense, Epifanío Kroon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romeo Aguiar. The Quinicabe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeo Aguiar should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Cantarrana's Romildo Armenta got a free kick in the 92nd minute. José Marcelo Grez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as José Marcelo Grez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Xosé Parro. That made the score 4-4 in the 98 minute of play. Quinicabe FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
