Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Epifanío Kroon kicked off to start the match. Cantarrana's Xosé Parro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xamín Chacon in the 4th minute of play. Epifanío Kroon struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Joel Subercaseaux didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cantarrana. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Epifanío Fredes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cantarrana's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanío Fredes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Subercaseaux breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th match minute, Cantarrana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Riveros to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Fachinal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanío Fredes came free, but Joel Subercaseaux reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonso Lanchares hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd match minute Regino Le Fort ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Xosé Parro. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Fachinal FC's Pinone Amezquita got a free kick in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Urra in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xosé Parro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joel Subercaseaux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanío Kroon, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Xamín Chacon might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xosé Parro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xamín Chacon ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

53 minutes into the match, Baudelio Soler notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Fachinal FC's Joel Subercaseaux. Joel Subercaseaux was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Regino Le Fort during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 59 minutes into the game, one of Fachinal FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ervigio Moltedo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Epifanío Kroon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanío Fredes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Subercaseaux read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Epifanío Kroon during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Xamín Chacon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xamín Chacon succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. In the 81st minute Xamín Chacon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xosé Parro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ervigio Moltedo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. When Elias Urra came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Fachinal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Urra couldn't finish the play. Joel Subercaseaux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanío Kroon, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 90 played minutes Cantarrana got a freekick which was hit by Ervigio Moltedo. After recieving a nice pass, Fachinal FC's Regino Le Fort tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 97 minutes, Elias Urra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fachinal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Urra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
