Ronaldo Saldaña took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Xosé Parro. Cantarrana's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cantarrana's zone, Elodio Bolados stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xosé Parro came out of the goal and Elodio Bolados tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute of the match Ervigio Moltedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Savier Isasa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Cantarrana's Savier Isasa threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Epifanío Kroon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Xosé Parro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Rechivichi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 25 minutes on the clock, Ronaldo Saldaña commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 26th match minute, El Amarillo Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Saldaña to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Romildo Armenta managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Epifanío Kroon in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Savier Isasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35thth minute of the game Elodio Bolados who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cantarrana's Xosé Parro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baudelio Soler kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Elodio Bolados got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elodio Bolados was the one to do the kick off. Savier Isasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanío Fredes in the 58th minute of play. When Epifanío Kroon came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Cantarrana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanío Kroon couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Epifanío Fredes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cantarrana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 68th minute Epifanío Kroon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Savier Isasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Savier Isasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Epifanío Kroon's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. When Cantarrana's Epifanío Kroon in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Amarillo Fc's goalie prevented a goal. Savier Isasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 84th minute Epifanío Kroon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Savier Isasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanío Fredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Savier Isasa having to interfere. After 88 played minutes El Amarillo Fc got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Rechivichi. El Amarillo Fc's Savier Isasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanío Kroon in the 95th minute of play.
