Zacarías Villanueva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Requena having to interfere. Iván Luis Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Utreras in the 18th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Miguel Utreras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iván Luis Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iván Luis Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yeray Villablanca in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute Zacarías Villanueva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Requena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Chocolan AFC's Salomón Sires seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Salomón Sires the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chocolan AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Salomón Sires had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chocolan AFC! Iván Luis Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Utreras in the 40th minute of the match. Iván Luis Paredes came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Espijia's Miguel Utreras. But to his dismay, Miguel Utreras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Utreras in the 46th minute of play forced Chocolan AFC's goalkeeper Iván Luis Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute Miguel Utreras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iván Luis Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Ludovico Puga made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Chocolan AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Yeray Villablanca fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 58th match minute, Espijia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Hoevel to maneuver through the defense. Adalberto Requena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Portolés, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Utreras in the 63rd minute of play forced Chocolan AFC's goalkeeper Iván Luis Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Yeray Villablanca notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Chocolan AFC's Iván Luis Paredes. Iván Luis Paredes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ludovico Puga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Requena having to interfere. Baudelio Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludovico Puga couldn't finish the play. Adalberto Requena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludovico Puga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Chocolan AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Espijia's performance. The match ended with a win for Espijia.
