When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Victoro Lizondo sped through Fraguita FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Norberto Armenta. Victoro Lizondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Armenta having to interfere. Norberto Armenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Renard in the 9th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Fraguita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Renard came free, but Norberto Armenta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Armenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoro Lizondo in the 17th minute of play. Norberto Armenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Renard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nemesio Tous received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Esteban Paladino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conrado Mannhardt's late challenge caught a Manquimiliu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conrado Mannhardt helped the player get up and apologised. Conrado Mannhardt hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Norberto Armenta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustacio Renard's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Esteban Paladino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Tous, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After having played for 31 minutes, Eustacio Renard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manquimiliu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustacio Renard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nemesio Tous sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victoro Lizondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norberto Armenta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. When Victoro Lizondo came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Manquimiliu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoro Lizondo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Fraguita FC's zone, Victoro Lizondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Armenta came out of the goal and Victoro Lizondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nemesio Tous was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Manquimiliu getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Miliano Roca hit a great ball. Nemesio Tous fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Paladino having to interfere. Victoro Lizondo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Norberto Armenta made a huge save. 64 minutes into the match, Fraguita FC's goalkeeper Norberto Armenta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustacio Renard. If Nemesio Tous had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Renard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes in the game, Eustacio Renard fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Norberto Armenta having to interfere. When Victoro Lizondo came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Manquimiliu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoro Lizondo couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, Fraguita FC's Conrado Mannhardt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteban Paladino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Esteban Paladino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Mannhardt in the 84th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Manquimiliu's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Mannhardt came free, but Esteban Paladino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
