In the 10th minute of the match Samuel Klein sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Plácido Barros skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Huaiquipan in the 11th minute of play forced Porteños FC's goalkeeper Plácido Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Vladimiro Mosca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomasino Nilo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 20th play minutes Vladimiro Mosca shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Tomasino Nilo and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Bodeuca's Sansón Bacigalupo got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute Vladimiro Mosca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasino Nilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomasino Nilo was a little too slow when Vladimiro Mosca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 3-1. After 36 minutes, Anacleto Mac Millan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porteños FC and the Bodeuca players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anacleto Mac Millan kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes, Bodeuca's Leopoldo Jacinto Aspillaga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Plácido Barros came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Plácido Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Tomás Cetina in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Maurino Abrahamsohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vladimiro Mosca to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomasino Nilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute Pedro Tomás Cetina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Plácido Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
