In the 41st minute, Christiano Huaiquipan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cristofer Avendaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Fabiani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Albarracin in the 69th minute of the match. Quim Jorge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cosme Fabiani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Quim Jorge in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cosme Fabiani, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Albarracin in the 80th minute of play forced Nike Air's goalkeeper Cosme Fabiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Albarracin in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Fabiani saved Nike Air from getting behind. Cosme Fabiani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quim Jorge in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute Christiano Huaiquipan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Jesus Menares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lazo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
