Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Higinio Solorzano kicked off to start the match. Julio Valdés hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Estebano Berau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Valdés in the 5th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elias Villavicencio during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elias Villavicencio kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Elodio Octavio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 9th minute, Ervigio Masoli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Estebano Berau was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Maurín Lagunas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Juan Antonio Zumaeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Higinio Solorzano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Antonio Zumaeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Solorzano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Antonio Zumaeta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match, Maurín Lagunas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Juan Antonio Zumaeta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Valdés in the 26th minute of play forced Maipu FC's goalkeeper Estebano Berau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Pissa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Juan Antonio Zumaeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurín Lagunas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Juan Antonio Zumaeta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Higinio Solorzano's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Juan Antonio Zumaeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Solorzano in the 59th minute of the match. Ervigio Masoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Maipu FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Vicens Pattillo hit a great ball. Estebano Berau was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julio Valdés showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 69 minute of play. In the 79th minute, Domenico Jeldrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Antonio Zumaeta came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Maipu FC's Maurín Lagunas. But to his dismay, Maurín Lagunas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Maurín Lagunas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maipu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurín Lagunas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Antonio Zumaeta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 89 played minutes Chupallas F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Elias Villavicencio. When Maurín Lagunas came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Maipu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurín Lagunas couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the game, Maipu FC's Higinio Solorzano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Antonio Zumaeta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. When the final whistle went the supporters of Chupallas F.C. were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Maipu FC side.
