José Ignacio Larralde hit a great ball. Lupica's César Ahumada couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Colmuyan. Juan Pedro Cox hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Lupica's Adrián Owen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Lupica from getting a goal against them. Pau Dahlgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrián Owen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pau Dahlgren ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 35 minutes, Pau Dahlgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colmuyan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pau Dahlgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Marful blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrián Owen having to make a save. Orlondón Zambrano took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christiano Cancino. Christiano Cancino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlondón Zambrano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lupica's Juan Manuel Redondo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christiano Cancino was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ondino Cantuarias. Juan Manuel Redondo made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 60thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Christiano Cancino would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Pau Dahlgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Adrián Owen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlondón Zambrano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Manuel Redondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Christiano Cancino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pau Dahlgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Orlondón Zambrano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Israel Claro charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After having played for 96 minutes, Erik Marful managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colmuyan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Marful was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Lupica booed when Colmuyan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Alba didn't get a good kick on the ball. 100 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colmuyan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. César Ahumada was slow to take the kick. During this time Lupica's players had a chance to rest. César Ahumada made a great header on Lupica's corner, it was just that Colmuyan's Christiano Cancino managed to reach the ball for a save.
