Montosa's Timeteo Aguad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Sanfuentes in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Edilberto Redole sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nafarroa Fontaner skillfully saved the ball. Luis Alberto Buchanan kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Manolo Abufom hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Juan Carlos Contador sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Savier Simaverti was the one to do the kick off. Nafarroa Fontaner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolo Abufom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Javiero Robledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Manolo Abufom came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Montosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manolo Abufom couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manolo Abufom in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nafarroa Fontaner saved Pocillas from getting behind. Manolo Abufom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Abufom in the 71st minute of play forced Pocillas's goalkeeper Nafarroa Fontaner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nafarroa Fontaner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manolo Abufom in the 77th minute of the match.
