The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mantos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 2nd minute. Penalty! When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ramón Risopatrón sped through Mantos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miren Linacre. In the 13th match minute, Ingenio AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alcides La Motte to maneuver through the defense. After 14 played minutes, Mantos's Salvador Zuasnabar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clemencín Andrews came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mantos reached it. 16 minutes into the game, Xamín Oruna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mantos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ingenio AFC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Mantos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ingenio AFC:s goal. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Ingenio AFC. Alcides La Motte stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Miren Linacre. 3-0. Clemencín Andrews came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mantos's Jeraldo Dabrowsky. But to his dismay, Jeraldo Dabrowsky quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 28th minute, Mantos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ramón Risopatrón fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Stefano Alegre was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Mantos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ingenio AFC:s goal. Alcides La Motte shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Adriano Poqué kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 39thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Mantos's keeper Miren Linacre was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Jeraldo Dabrowsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemencín Andrews having to interfere. Adriano Poqué came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Miren Linacre could save by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramón Risopatrón made a kick off. Jeraldo Dabrowsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Clemencín Andrews tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jeraldo Dabrowsky came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Mantos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeraldo Dabrowsky couldn't finish the play. Cristián Tuñon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemencín Andrews having to interfere. With a little luck, Ingenio AFC's Clemencín Andrews got control of the ball when Jeraldo Dabrowsky tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ramón Risopatrón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the game, Cristián Tuñon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mantos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ingenio AFC the free kick. Miren Linacre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Poqué, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. If Cristián Tuñon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingenio AFC's Ramón Risopatrón got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the game, one of Mantos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ingenio AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mantos for a fine match.
