Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alfredo Ardiles got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Chapiquina booed when VY Canis Majoris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreo Ried didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Vladimiro Raab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarías Osorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Chapiquina's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Ardiles came free, but Timeteo Leyton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Fausto Alvear notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Chapiquina's Timeteo Leyton. Timeteo Leyton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leoncio Narea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Zacarías Osorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Zenaido Aranguea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Vladimiro Raab came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Chapiquina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Raab couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Chapiquina's Epifanío Vino got a free kick in the 29th minute. The VY Canis Majoris fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when VY Canis Majoris's Alfredo Ardiles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 33rd match minute, Chapiquina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zenaido Aranguea to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Chapiquina defense, Alfredo Ardiles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Timeteo Leyton. The Chapiquina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timeteo Leyton should have stopped the shot. Vladimiro Raab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Zacarías Osorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in VY Canis Majoris's zone, Vladimiro Raab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarías Osorio came out of the goal and Vladimiro Raab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sisebuto Goñi to strike the kick off in the second half. If Sisebuto Goñi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Leoncio Narea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chapiquina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Zarpas Cares's shot from long distance in the 67th minute was not bad at all, but Chapiquina's Timeteo Leyton knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Zacarías Osorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sisebuto Goñi, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Sisebuto Goñi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Zacarías Osorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimiro Raab blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zacarías Osorio having to make a save. If Sisebuto Goñi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timeteo Leyton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Ardiles in the 79th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Igor Young was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chapiquina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VY Canis Majoris the free kick. In the 79th match minute, Chapiquina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Young to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sisebuto Goñi in the 82nd minute of play forced VY Canis Majoris's goalkeeper Zacarías Osorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarías Osorio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimiro Raab's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Sisebuto Goñi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zacarías Osorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Young in the 90th minute of play. Chapiquina's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Asier Cáceres in the 92nd minute. The corner ended in Asier Cáceres almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but VY Canis Majoris's Zacarías Osorio did a great save. The Chapiquina manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing VY Canis Majoris to win.
