Fidelio Aragón yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Peio Painecura's late challenge caught a Conchali FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peio Painecura helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Conchali FC booed when Ranquilco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peio Painecura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidelio Aragón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcomillo Lauwerens in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Leonides Castillo made a precise shot to the right of Fidelio Aragón. Conchali FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Fulgencio Mac Donald made the kick off in the second half. Fidelio Aragón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narcomillo Lauwerens in the 52nd minute of the match. If Narcomillo Lauwerens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narcomillo Lauwerens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidelio Aragón read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Conchali FC's Fidelio Aragón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Castillo in the 62nd minute of play. Ambrosio Beca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Mac Donald in the 72nd minute of play. Erik Coulins short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Ambrosio Beca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Conchali FC's Fidelio Aragón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Castillo in the 75th minute of play. Fidelio Aragón dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Narcomillo Lauwerens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidelio Aragón having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Conchali FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ranquilco.
