Ambrosio Beca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Carlos Cristi in the 18th minute of the match. Leonides Castillo struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Mauro Gorriti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ranquilco. Ambrosio Beca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Talledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Leonides Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mauro Gorriti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Castillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Narcomillo Lauwerens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Gorriti was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Narcomillo Lauwerens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Mauro Gorriti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ranquilco walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
