After 6 played minutes Carora got a freekick which was hit by Alipio Zaror. Claudio Ventura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Mazeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norberto Mazeira might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Ventura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norberto Mazeira ran back to his position shaking his head. Claudio Ventura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Mazeira in the 13th minute of the match. When Stefano Deves came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Carora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefano Deves couldn't finish the play. In the 19th match minute, Estrella del este was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón Rallo to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute of the match, Stefano Deves got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sebastiano Berrio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 24 minutes, Xavier Angel Ceballos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estrella del este's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Angel Ceballos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estrella del este's goalkeeper Sebastiano Berrio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute of the match, Stefano Deves got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sebastiano Berrio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefano Deves got free with Sebastiano Berrio in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norberto Mazeira struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Claudio Ventura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estrella del este. 40 minutes into the match, Carora's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Angel Ceballos came free, but Claudio Ventura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Ventura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Angel Ceballos in the 41st minute of play. Norberto Mazeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Claudio Ventura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xavier Angel Ceballos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Xavier Angel Ceballos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Claudio Ventura. Xavier Angel Ceballos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Estrella del este's Gaspar Borda got a free kick in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefano Deves in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastiano Berrio saved Estrella del este from getting behind. In the 63rd minute Ricard Languard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastiano Berrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastiano Berrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricard Languard in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Stefano Deves made a precise shot to the right of Sebastiano Berrio. Estrella del este's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Gaspar Borda's late challenge caught a Carora's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaspar Borda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Estrella del este was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Borda to maneuver through the defense. Sebastiano Berrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefano Deves in the 79th minute of the match. Claudio Ventura made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Norberto Mazeira sent off a good shot on target. In the last second Claudio Ventura throw himself and got hold of the ball when Xavier Angel Ceballos in the 86thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Norberto Mazeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Claudio Ventura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Xavier Angel Ceballos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Ventura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The goalkeeper, Claudio Ventura, was totally fooled by Estrella del este's Hilario Troncoso, who 96 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Estrella del este's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
