Jaime Fornes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ursino Bulnes having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Barquito AFC's Zenaido Ballero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ursino Bulnes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Chulchui's goalkeeper Ursino Bulnes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Fornes. After 17 played minutes Chulchui got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Tolhauzsen. If Jaime Fornes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darío Galmes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Muñiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Ursino Bulnes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Fornes's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Ursino Bulnes made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Zenaido Ballero sent off a good shot on target. When Zenaido Ballero came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Barquito AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zenaido Ballero couldn't finish the play. Ursino Bulnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Fornes in the 41st minute of the match. Carlos Alberto Muñiz scored 2-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Darío Galmes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urtsín Cardoso to make the kick off. Jaime Fornes might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ursino Bulnes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Fornes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th minute Jaime Fornes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ursino Bulnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Chulchui booed when Barquito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Fontaner didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute Jaime Fornes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ursino Bulnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jaime Fornes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Fornes in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ursino Bulnes saved Chulchui from getting behind. 69 minutes into the game, Jaime Fornes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barquito AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chulchui the free kick. Darío Galmes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urtsín Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teun De Maerschalck in the 79th minute of play forced Chulchui's goalkeeper Ursino Bulnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Barquito AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Antonio Turull hit a great ball. Urtsín Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darío Galmes having to interfere. Zenaido Ballero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ursino Bulnes having to interfere. In the 91st minute Teun De Maerschalck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ursino Bulnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ursino Bulnes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Fornes went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 97th match minute, Chulchui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Dibarrart to maneuver through the defense. In the 100th minute of the match Reynaldo Pradel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ursino Bulnes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
