Spectators: 6705 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1705, VIP seats: 0) Algarrobal's Odón Makaus started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Algarrobal's Xulián Fassnacht got control of the ball when Rodolfo Losada tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute, Pablo Honores got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Sopocalane's goal looked a bit too open when Odón Makaus came free, but Juan Carlos Oyarzún reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sopocalane's Juan Carlos Oyarzún played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Vera in the 14th minute of play. Benito Pulido kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Algarrobal's zone, Bermejo Collados stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xulián Fassnacht came out of the goal and Bermejo Collados tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Carlos Oyarzún showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Vera, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Algarrobal's goalkeeper Xulián Fassnacht, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 36 played minutes Algarrobal got a freekick which was hit by Ludovico Marquéz. When Bermejo Collados came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Sopocalane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bermejo Collados couldn't finish the play. When Mark Landaeta fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sopocalane's protests and gave Mark Landaeta a yellow card for diving instead. 48 minutes into the match, Algarrobal's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Losada came free, but Xulián Fassnacht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodolfo Losada to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, Franco Paetz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Algarrobal and the Sopocalane players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Algarrobal getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Franco Paetz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bermejo Collados in the 58th minute of play forced Algarrobal's goalkeeper Xulián Fassnacht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Algarrobal's Odón Makaus in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 70th match minute, Sopocalane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Losada to maneuver through the defense. After 73 played minutes Sopocalane got a freekick which was hit by Benito Pulido. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Algarrobal reached it. Jorge Vera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Odón Makaus in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Carlos Oyarzún saved Sopocalane from getting behind. If Rodolfo Losada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xulián Fassnacht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bermejo Collados, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Odón Makaus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Juan Carlos Oyarzún tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Algarrobal players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sopocalane from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
