Cabrito AFC's Casimír Airola suffered a concussion in the 16th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. In the 22nd minute, Francisco Antonio Tamayo made a precise shot to the right of Eleuterio Beausejour. Aldana AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. If Francisco Antonio Tamayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. A collision led to Cabrito AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jonathan Fariña hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ángel Millapan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aldana AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ángel Millapan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sisebuto Dragicevic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Antonio Tamayo made a kick off. Baldomero Waddington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Beausejour having to interfere. Ángel Millapan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Aldana AFC booed when Cabrito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Antonio Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Teofilio Bolton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Antonio Tamayo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eleuterio Beausejour having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Aldana AFC's zone, Jonathan Fariña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleuterio Beausejour came out of the goal and Jonathan Fariña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ángel Millapan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sisebuto Dragicevic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elizalde Bisquert in the 70th minute of play. Baldomero Waddington hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Elizalde Bisquert came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Aldana AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elizalde Bisquert couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Antonio Tamayo in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eleuterio Beausejour prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 85 minutes, Francisco Antonio Tamayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabrito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Antonio Tamayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
