In the 21st minute, Albano Basualdo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Huancarane's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Almazan came free, but Carlos Gustavo Montaner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albano Basualdo might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Jacinto Marful. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albano Basualdo ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Evelio Zelaya put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Leopoldo Jacinto Marful. In the 54th minute, Giancarlo Barcoj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopoldo Jacinto Marful stood somewhat misplaced when Albano Basualdo came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 56 minute.
