Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gustavo Gaymer took the kick off in the first half of the match. Amadeo Manosalva took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Gustavo Montaner. Carlos Gustavo Montaner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Carlos Gustavo Montaner came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Quidenez FC's Amadeo Manosalva. But to his dismay, Amadeo Manosalva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 16th minute, Lester Magnolfi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Abdón Alejo came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Huancarane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdón Alejo couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute Albano Basualdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Armando Bascuñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-2 became the score in the 27th minute when Albano Basualdo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 31 played minutes Quidenez FC got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio De la Sotta. Diego Armando Bascuñán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Mosquera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evelio Zelaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Armando Bascuñán having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Quidenez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lester Magnolfi came free, but Diego Armando Bascuñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lester Magnolfi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mercé Lizarzaburu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Gustavo Montaner. Huancarane's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Albano Basualdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Diego Armando Bascuñán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evelio Zelaya made a kick off. Albano Basualdo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Evelio Zelaya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huancarane fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Diego Armando Bascuñán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Zelaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Quidenez FC's Diego Armando Bascuñán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Basualdo in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Zelaya in the 61st minute of play forced Quidenez FC's goalkeeper Diego Armando Bascuñán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Quidenez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Basualdo came free, but Diego Armando Bascuñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Huancarane's Evelio Zelaya in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
