After a rather tough play, Colchane FC's Ariel Wallffiguer got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute, Brian Figari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colchane FC's Alessandro Cancino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bayern FC. If Fabricio Esdras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Fabricio Esdras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Allison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match, Alcides Zúñiga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ronaldo Talavera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bayern FC's Ronaldo Talavera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Bayern FC from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Alcides Zúñiga sped through Bayern FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ronaldo Talavera. A collision led to Colchane FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Alcides Zúñiga hit a great ball. Robustiano Allison stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severo Bettini's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The supporters of Colchane FC booed when Bayern FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoro Mendoza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute of the match Alessandro Cancino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronaldo Talavera skillfully saved the ball. 50 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colchane FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cosme Leiva was slow to take the kick. During this time Bayern FC's players had a chance to rest. Humberto Hasche was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Luis Fonseca to make the kick off. Ronaldo Talavera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alcides Zúñiga in the 65th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Colchane FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Aylwin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Colchane FC's Candido Aylwin got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute, José Luis Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Severo Bettini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bayern FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Bettini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severo Bettini got free with Robustiano Allison in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robustiano Allison was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Fabricio Esdras capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabricio Esdras really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Severo Bettini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabricio Esdras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bayern FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Cosme Leiva hit a great ball. Bayern FC played a much better game than Colchane FC and deserved their victory. The Colchane FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
