Rómulo Ayerdi hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. A collision led to Colchagua C.D. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Pere Pissa hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the game, Elías Guesalaga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Enrique Castelblanco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fortunato Fedeghelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustín Traverso having to interfere. Walter Stapleton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Walter Stapleton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colchagua C.D.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Walter Stapleton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustín Traverso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valerio Piñeiro hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Agustín Traverso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Fedeghelli in the 71st minute of the match. After 74 played minutes, Barrancas AFC's Jeronimo Alliende shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Enrique Castelblanco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barrancas AFC reached it. Fortunato Fedeghelli took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agustín Traverso. Agustín Traverso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Enrique Castelblanco made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when José Javier Gana sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Colchagua C.D.'s Nicolas Kunstmann got a free kick in the 85th minute. Walter Stapleton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Agustín Traverso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walter Stapleton charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walter Stapleton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Walter Stapleton hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Colchagua C.D.'s Valerio Piñeiro got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Javier Gana got free with Enrique Castelblanco in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barrancas AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Colchagua C.D..
