An unexpectedly hard shot by Salbatore Maggiora in the 7th minute of play forced Club Deportes Cobreloa's goalkeeper Próspero Chaparro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Huantrunes AFC were awarded a corner. Alejandro Piedra went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Alejandro Piedra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Próspero Chaparro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Norberto Livingstone kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Salbatore Maggiora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Próspero Chaparro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonatan Ehijo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonatan Ehijo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Próspero Chaparro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salbatore Maggiora struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Próspero Chaparro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huantrunes AFC. In the 22nd minute, Jonatan Ehijo made a precise shot to the right of Próspero Chaparro. Club Deportes Cobreloa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Próspero Chaparro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Ehijo in the 25th minute of play. Jonatan Ehijo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Próspero Chaparro having to interfere. If Jonatan Ehijo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Club Deportes Cobreloa's Mohamed Alcocer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelino Giron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Club Deportes Cobreloa's Xacobo Daire got a free kick in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Erwenne made a kick off. Jonatan Ehijo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Próspero Chaparro having to interfere. Club Deportes Cobreloa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Salbatore Maggiora scored to the left of an out of position Próspero Chaparro, making the score, 0-2. A hard shot 58 in the game by Jonatan Ehijo from a close distance when the talented Próspero Chaparro managed to make a qualified save. Club Deportes Cobreloa's players were relieved. In the 59th play minute Jonatan Ehijo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Próspero Chaparro. 0-3. Jonatan Ehijo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Próspero Chaparro made a huge save. In the 73rd minute, Salbatore Maggiora got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Mohamed Alcocer came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Club Deportes Cobreloa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Alcocer couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Huantrunes AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Deportes Cobreloa throughout the match.
