Irrational Rage Attack's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ambrosio Frey ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Chamiza FC's Ambrosio Frey to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlos Manuel Hermida despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Irrational Rage Attack's Carlos Manuel Hermida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Llanos in the 40th minute of play. Erasmo Barrientos got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 41st minute, Erasmo Barrientos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Julio Pan fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chamiza FC's protests and gave Julio Pan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Chamiza FC's Julio Pan got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Florián Meza struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Isidoro Anriquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Irrational Rage Attack. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julio Pan was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Irrational Rage Attack's zone, Julio Pan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Manuel Hermida came out of the goal and Julio Pan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Álvaro Llanos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Manuel Hermida having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Álvaro Llanos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chamiza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Álvaro Llanos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Manuel Hermida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Pan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Manuel Hermida having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Pan in the 89th minute of play forced Irrational Rage Attack's goalkeeper Carlos Manuel Hermida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Manuel Hermida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julio Pan in the 91st minute. With his leg Carlos Manuel Hermida managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Chamiza FC's Álvaro Llanos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
