In the 3rd minute, Ruesga Villouta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Isaac Marmentini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. Ysidro Soruco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo Grebe having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Saúl Unger during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 30 played minutes Huampulla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Saúl Unger. 33 minutes into the match, Huampulla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Miliano Alenk came free, but Ubaldo Matildo Redondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Emilio Felipe Oyarzabal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bancarrota F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Felipe Oyarzabal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Matildo Redondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Emilio Felipe Oyarzabal fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ubaldo Matildo Redondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miliano Alenk in the 39th minute of the match. If Emilio Felipe Oyarzabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miliano Alenk might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ubaldo Matildo Redondo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miliano Alenk ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Bancarrota F.C's zone, Ysidro Soruco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldo Grebe came out of the goal and Ysidro Soruco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ysidro Soruco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miliano Alenk was the one to do the kick off. Miliano Alenk struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Ubaldo Matildo Redondo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bancarrota F.C. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Felipe Oyarzabal in the 53rd minute of play forced Huampulla AFC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Redondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Miliano Alenk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronaldo Grebe was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Taurino Albornoz. During the 70th minute of the match Carlos Saúl Unger completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Carlos Saúl Unger a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Huampulla AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Carlos Saúl Unger hit a great ball. Ubaldo Matildo Redondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Felipe Oyarzabal, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Ysidro Soruco hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Ubaldo Matildo Redondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruesga Villouta in the 81st minute of play. Ubaldo Matildo Redondo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miliano Alenk's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Felipe Oyarzabal in the 83rd minute of play forced Huampulla AFC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Redondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 89 minutes, Emilio Felipe Oyarzabal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bancarrota F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Felipe Oyarzabal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emilio Felipe Oyarzabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Matildo Redondo having to interfere. Emilio Felipe Oyarzabal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Huampulla AFC's Geraldo Alzerreca got a free kick in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bancarrota F.C had played much better football throughout.
