Uni Linkin FC's David Durango played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Lataste in the 4th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Uni Linkin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manolo Lisperguer came free, but David Durango reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Uni Linkin FC's Adelmo Monte got a free kick in the 28th minute. Miren Marty charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miren Marty the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Amazaca booed when Uni Linkin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miren Marty didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Durango took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Lataste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alcadio Aguad kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Alcadio Aguad's late challenge caught a Uni Linkin FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alcadio Aguad helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes Amazaca got a freekick which was hit by Alcadio Aguad. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Lisperguer in the 42nd minute of play forced Uni Linkin FC's goalkeeper David Durango to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Julio Lataste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Uni Linkin FC's Alcides Correa got a free kick in the 46th minute. The attack was good, but when Manolo Lisperguer in the 47th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julio Lataste to strike the kick off in the second half. David Durango made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manolo Lisperguer in the 60th minute. Ceandro Ondegardo charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ceandro Ondegardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Uni Linkin FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Amazaca:s goal. 0-2 came through a penalty shot after 64 played minutes, when Amazaca:s Carlos Manuel Ochoa calmly waited for Uni Linkin FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Uni Linkin FC's zone, Manolo Lisperguer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Durango came out of the goal and Manolo Lisperguer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julio Lataste in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Durango prevented the ball from getting in the gole. David Durango made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Manolo Lisperguer sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Uni Linkin FC's David Durango got control of the ball when Manolo Lisperguer tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Durango made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manolo Lisperguer in the 85th minute. Manolo Lisperguer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Durango having to interfere. After some careless play in the Amazaca defense, Ezequiel Bassenge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lois Grez. The Amazaca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lois Grez should have stopped the shot. Manolo Lisperguer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but David Durango made a huge save. Amazaca played a much better game than Uni Linkin FC and deserved their victory. The Uni Linkin FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
