The supporters of Quinepeumo booed when Mantos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alessandro Mauad in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florentino Mendizabal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alessandro Mauad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Diego Abbott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Lander Sir kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alexandro Anguita. That made the score 0-2 in the 57 minute of play. Florentino Mendizabal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igon Lamas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandro Anguita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lander Sir in the 65th minute of the match. If Igon Lamas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Quinepeumo got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Narváez. After recieving a nice pass, Mantos AFC's Rodolfo Aboitiz tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute Alessandro Mauad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Mendizabal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Mendizabal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igon Lamas in the 84th minute of the match. Juliano Beitia hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Rodolfo Aboitiz didn't quite understand what happened when in the 88 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The supporters of Quinepeumo booed when Mantos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Larrauna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Manolo Nicolau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandro Anguita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lander Sir in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mantos AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
