Trabunco's Claudio Ormaechea got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baraquiel Carillanca's late challenge caught a Trabunco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baraquiel Carillanca helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes Los Rayados Victorienses got a freekick which was hit by Baraquiel Carillanca. Celino Tripailaf was a little too slow when Claudio Ormaechea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 4-0. Aníbal Hermosilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natanael Ampuero in the 47th minute of the match.

Aníbal Hermosilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Sierralta, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After having played for 54 minutes, Claudio Ormaechea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Rayados Victorienses's goalkeeper Celino Tripailaf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fausto Toro hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Guido Sierralta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Los Rayados Victorienses's Guido Sierralta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. The supporters of Trabunco booed when Los Rayados Victorienses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Trabunco's Claudio Ormaechea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celino Tripailaf showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael Ampuero in the 91st minute of play forced Trabunco's goalkeeper Aníbal Hermosilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Natanael Ampuero made a precise shot to the right of Aníbal Hermosilla. Trabunco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Rayados Victorienses players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
